Upload your child’s Christmas drawing and we’ll transform their artwork into a beautiful laser-engraved natural slate placemat.
Whether they’ve drawn Rudolph, Father Christmas, a snowman, Christmas tree, their family – or something only they can explain – we’ll carefully prepare their artwork for engraving while retaining the character of their original drawing.
The finished design is permanently laser engraved into natural black slate, producing a contrasting light-grey finish.
Use it as their special place setting at Christmas dinner, then bring it back out every December as a reminder of Christmas when they were little.

Take a clear, well-lit photograph or scan of their drawing and upload it when ordering.
3. We prepare it
We’ll convert the artwork into a format suitable for laser engraving while preserving the character of their drawing.

Their artwork is permanently laser engraved onto their very own natural slate placemat.

What Can They Draw?
It doesn’t need to be perfect – that’s rather the point.
Rudolph, Father Christmas, snowmen, Christmas trees, presents, elves, the family, pets, Christmas messages and wonderfully unidentifiable festive creatures are all welcome.
Simple, bold drawings generally reproduce particularly well when engraved.
Artwork Upload Advice
For the best result:
- Draw on plain white paper
- Dark pens, pencils or crayons work particularly well
- Photograph the drawing straight-on in good natural light
- Avoid shadows across the paper
- Upload the highest-quality photograph or scan available
Please don’t digitally tidy up the drawing before uploading it. The little imperfections are what make it theirs.
